Theater style seating in banquets
A theater style seating in a banquet is generally used for presentations when minimal guest participation is required. This set-up has rows of chairs facing the speaker. In case the hall is large, you may have aisle space in between to facilitate movement.
Usually, in a hall of 1000 square feet, you can place 125 chairs in this fashion. However, if there is a stage and podium, you may have to leave space for that. It is a good idea to keep aisle space of 3 feet after every 10 chairs though if you are cramped for space, you can even go up to 14 chairs.
However, make sure that you do not block the emergency doors and path to fire exits with chairs.
