What to check on a reconfirmation call to guest

Prefer to read

To ensure a good check-in experience for a guest, do a pre-arrival reconfirmation call a day before the visit.
This step will help you to confirm the guest’s arrival time. This way you can keep the room ready.

Other than that, also ask about the bed type preference and if they prefer a smoking or non-smoking room. That will help you to block the rooms in advance and be ready for guest arrival.

When you call them also remind them about the identification documents that they will need to submit and remind them to carry them when they come to the hotel.

Offer to send them the hotel location map and phone number of the duty manager so that they can reach out to the hotel if needed.
