Hello everyone, in this video, we will learn what all glassware will your bar need.
To run a high quality bar operation, you will need glassware that is of high quality. When polished, they must sparkle and show off the drinks clearly.
Now, there are many varieties of glassware, but if you have just 5 glassware in your bar, you could still run it efficiently.
The first glass is the cocktail glass or the martini glass. It is triangular glass with a stem.
It can come in the range of 4 to 8 oz, so depending on your recipes, you can purchase them.
The next glass you will need is the Collins glass. They are tall and narrow and typically vary from 8 to 12 oz.
The next glass is the highball. It is short in size than a Collins but wider. It ranges in size from 8 oz to 10 oz.
I always used to get confused with Collins and highball. Now the way I remember is that Collins is tall and narrow, while the highball is smaller
Speaking of a small wide glass, you will need an old-fashioned glass.
This is used to serve whiskey and typically holds 6 to 8 oz.
Then you need something fancy for your non-alcoholic drinks.
Many bars typically use hurricane glass for this.
The glass looks like an hourglass and can hold 14 to 20 oz of drinks.
You may also serve alcoholic drinks in the hurricane so it is a versatile glass.
Of course, these are not the only glasses you can keep in your bar.
Speak to a supplier and they will have some great collection of glasses for your bar.
